Back in the day I liked to post a picture of any pub that closed - but this has rather got forgotten - I'll try and catch up. to be going on with here's a picture of the 'Old Roundabout' at Stanningley

I don't know if these have been mentioned, I've searched and nothing came back at me. The Newlands on Hyde Park Road, burned down in the riots, Stoggys later Caspers now demolished and student flats in its place. And the Little Park (above) also on Hyde Park road closed by the cops, now turned into flats.

The Bridgefield, Cross Green, is no more. Empty for many years- it has been totally demolished over the past couple of days.

Looks like the Black Bull in Pudsey is going to re open workmen have been there for about two weeks.The lights were on when i passed today.The Shamrock in Pudsey has a lease for sale notice outside.

The sad sight of the Albion - surely one of Leeds most iconic pubs - boarded up.Once upon a time, when the owners of Tetley's cared about such things, a blue plaque was put up on the corner of the Albion. It reads;THE ALBIONby virtue of its historic interest merits the titleA HERITAGE INN“The past is a foreign country; they do things differently there.”[L.P.Hartley]
