I saw that Jogon mentioned the Leeds-based artist Allan Radcliffe who I believe is based in Headingley. I have a lovely original of his of St Chads church in Headingley. Its a smallish piece (approx A5 size) in a larger glazed frame. I believe its a mixed media piece done in acrylics and watercolour pencils. I've noticed that Browns Gallery in Otley has a number of his pictures for sale but they ae mostly scenes from the Wharfedale area around Otley and Ilkley. Radcliffe's pieces are quite prolific though as I've seen pictures of Horsforth / Harrogate / Haworth / Whitby / York etc. His original pieces seem to start at £125. I'm offering my vintage 1993 St Chads for £65 ono.

Not paintings but images taken from reference books on the British Library flickr site, might be of interest:http://www.flickr.com/photos/britishlib ... 292269036/

This is link to a just over 6 minutes clip from 'I didn't know you cared' that has many of the characters. I still find it funny but perhaps it may not seem so to those who are used to the modern style of television humour, pardon. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qIWO0MIpFAw
