Blocked up gates on Whitehall Road - any ideas?

Slater, that's the fella. Couldn't remember his name. It did take him a while to build those semis.I seem to remember at one time an old Polish chap living in the big house.

Of course - the real reason these gates were bricked up - was because they were the gates into hell!How's that for a story for a local film maker ...
