Bridges and Barriers?

In a similar vein Network Rail have been at work under the A63 Selby Road Bridge - A63/A64 junction.It's 2 lanes in both directions under the bridge controlled by traffic lights.NR have painted white lines under the bridge directing high vehicles towards the middle of the road.Have never heard in my time on the railway this bridge ever been struck.Problem is car drivers etc won't cross the white lines thus narrowing the 2 lanes.
