Something missing from that link - a few pics of what the outside's going to look like. Are we going to get a building worthy of the 2nd financial city in the UK or something as monstrous as the MEN Arena in Manchester ?

Well my vote would be for a carbon copy of the Echo Arena in Liverpool. Looks great from the outside, easy to find and get to your seats on the inside and the acoustics are great. Also there's not a seat in the place that dosn't give you a fantastic view of the stage.Whats not to like

I remember someone telling me in London that you can tell the success of a city by the count of cranes you can see on the sky line - don't see many at the moment but hopefully this will pick up in the near future.
