That could be the Order of the Bath around his neck.This would fit with them being King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra

It does look like that Order and could be Edward and Alexandra, but I'm not sure what their connection would be with a house in Leeds.

Like Croggy1 I have no idea of why the royal pair would be on a house in Leeds, but Princess Alexandra did wear a "diamond bracelet, given by the ladies of Leeds" at her wedding. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wedding_dr ... of_Denmark)The two plaster heads do indeed look similar to Edward and Alexandra.

Entirely by coincidence just up the road and across from Nafee's, there is an Edward VII postbox. You can see it here......http://www.yorkshiredailyphoto.com/2011 ... e.htmlThis one is not mentioned in the 'Leeds Oldest Postbox' thread on SL. Maybe that is because it isn't, but it seems to be acknowledged that EVII boxes are rare because of his brief (9 years) reign.
