I took this photo of these small ornamental pillars on August 2 2013. There is another group of three further along the building, which is in central Leeds. I have walked passed countless times but had never spotted them before!Edit added later. I had not previously noticed the pigeon (that's not a cryptic clue, just a statement).

It's neither of those, though I agree it does have a look of both (I think the Norwich Union building is that at the junction of Infirmary Street and Park Row that has the bird metal work).
