Health and Safety no doubt to blame but there are plenty of tools available in 2013 to cut sloping verges safely. Think I'll get in touch with the Y.E.P about it.The thing is they win these contracts with the lowest price, then can't flipping do the job.I can't wait to see how long that sloping grass grows before, or even if it gets cut Everything that has ever been contracted out, or privatised is a rubbish service.

Attack of the grass cutters!Parts 9 & 10.In freezing weather, and with a hailstorm raging, a gathering of awesome grass cutting machines was assembled today. It's a happening!I wonder if this sudden display of serious machinery might possibly be to do with any photos on here? After the storm had passed, and the sun came out, unbelievably ALL the grass was cut on the South side of the flats. I've never in the last 2 years seen this happen before. Time to look at the North side of the flats, and yes they too had cut the sloping grass that was left yesterday. This is too good to be true I'm starting to think. But wait... What's that dark patch of green at the bottom, it looks rather ominous Oh oh. I thought it was too good to be true Despite cutting the most difficult part of the minefield around the trees at the top. They've just left this part, packed up and are now gone to pastures even greener! So despite 8 grass cutting men being here for the last 2 days, they still can't manage to cut all the grass!I shall be documenting how high this patch of grass gets during the coming weeks or months. If I'm not heard of for a while, then you know where to send the search party
