It wouldn't surprise me if it was deliberate but if the building was knocked down, what is the space going to be good for? Another prefab office block?

I am almost upset over this, I never got the chance to drink there but I passed it daily on my commute and loved the fact that despite not being a pub anymore it was a furniture shop and not a tesco.Will be sadly missed.

I bought 4 pints in there circa 1982 so I can't mourn it's passing.If I owned a derelict pub I should like to sell it to whoever offered the most, regardless of future use...I'd share it with Mrs J
