Just looking at the old maps again, I think my photo herehttp://www.flickr.com/photos/phill_dvsn/468446583/Is part of the original stone footbridge that carried the ancient footpath from Woodhouse Ridge to Weetwood. The two smaller arches at the end being the original stone bridge that was extended later to carry the quarry tramway. That old bridge has been hidden from view ever since. It's more than possible the Kirkstall monks built that bridge. That old footpath was covered on Secret Leeds herehttp://www.secretleeds.com/forum/Messages.aspx ... #69320Many ginnels still exist to mark the route today.
My flickr pictures are herehttp://www.flickr.com/photos/phill_dvsn/Because lunacy was the influence for an album. It goes without saying that an album about lunacy will breed a lunatics obsessions with an album - The Dark side of the moon!
