I was in Boots the other day by the door into the Bond Street centre and realised it must be about 20 years since I bothered going though there.

Yes tilly, shopping is expensive. To save some money in the centre of Leeds (and other cities) you have to be strong enough minded nowadays to say no to the persistent charity fundraisers (the chuggers). Flag days are though rare now but one increasing source of grabbing your cash are the 'help you pack' fundraisers at store checkouts. Though I still pack myself I do give (unless I've paid by card and do not have any small change) but it is hard to say no. I must sound like an old skinflint!

When the till operator asks me can i help you pack i always say no but you can help me pay it gets a laugh every time.

Nice one Tilly. I shall be interested to see the answer as I don't know. It does though to me look like it could be a photo of a painting as the cabinet and objects do not look real, but I'm probably wrong.

At last, one I now and I'm in early. Above the faucets and opposite the wide-bottomed trousers.
