Here's a pre-1974 close-up of the gable end of said building.

My flickr pictures are herehttp://www.flickr.com/photos/phill_dvsn/Because lunacy was the influence for an album. It goes without saying that an album about lunacy will breed a lunatics obsessions with an album - The Dark side of the moon!

i would suggest that before this thread becomes as long as the skulls thread (which already contains a FULL description of the building enquired about , the surrounding area , the history of this and adjoining buildings, etc), this thread is locked.using the new Google search should enable details in the skulls thread to be found ,try using Assembly Rooms in the search box.
Steve JonesI don't know everything, I just like to give that impression!

The white building i was talking about is nothing to do with the Assemble Rooms in the 2009 thread of the same name.Nor has it anything to do with the sculls thread unless it has been talked about on that thread if it has sorry for bringing it up again.
No matter were i end my days im an Hunslet lad with Hunslet ways.
