Have just been looking at today's top 50 on Leodis and noticed that 15 of the 50 are photos of a Leeds auto repair company.Am I being too cynical in thinking the site is being manipulated for commercial purposes, i.e. free publicity, or could there be a more simple reason?

Hi there,Just been on Leodis to have a look and I can only find one reference to the auto shop. Was this a scam to get us to look at Leodis laugh.I love Leodis and did find some photos of my old houses in Armley when I was a child. It brought tears to my eyes as it brought back such good memories. You cannot replace your childhood and your parents no matter how poor you were. Love the site. x

I often notice that one particular photo has soared to the top of the pops on there. I always think it's because someone has linked to it from a message board. Quite often a link from this very website sends a photo to number one. 'Greetings, pop pickers'

I recall late 70's someone rang their British Leyland dealership about the woodwork going on their half timbered Morris Minor Traveller. The parts manager recommended a good joiner over Bramley way.

In some places shipwrights used to have a nice sideline in repairing Traveller panels. They were also susceptible to shipworm.
