Thanks jogon and Leo, glad it isn't just my computer. It'll be that Duncan fiddling about again no doubt. We'll have to tell him about that If he see's this no doubt he'll let us know what's afoot

HUGE power cut in York just announced on B.B.C news. Pretty unprecedented blackout so they say. Wonder if our server thingy comes from them parts?

Also slow for me loading the initial forum page:http://www.secretleeds.co.uk/forum/But once that's loaded, navigating around the threads gets a very quick response.I'm relieved that it's not just me, as I've had problems with my PC recently and thought this was a recurrence!

Hmm, dunno about the speed issues but it woren't me guv(s)!The new server isn't the fastest thing in the world, and it's not a dedicated machine, it runs other sites too (unrelated to SL). If one of those was experiencing heavy usage then it would have an impact on speeds here.Now that there's some cash coming in from the advertising I'll be able to look at upgrading stuff like that though.
