Still got use of the red button though for BBC When ITV stopped theirs, (can't even remember what it was called now?!), we were left with very little to bother with. Was it Teletext Caron? That's the one, Johnny39, thanks. I also remember a sort of "ad" on tele where they'd say, "Page the Oracle"....seems like 50 yrs ago!! Hi Caron - I looked on GOOGLE and it was Oracle. Closed in '92.

There was a fashion trend years ago ,in the early 60's I think when it was the done thing to wear a Robin Hood style hat! This item was worn by young lads of 18-25 with a shorty overcoat! Anyone on here remember this? it didn't catch on in a massive way as the "beatle"haircut became all the rage and people wanted to show their haircut off and not cover it up!

Fashions come and go, I know but rarely seen today are men in smart hats and boys in caps (not the baseball type); raincoats and overcoats being carried rather than worn and young men on a night out wearing suits, collars and ties (with tie pins/clips) and hankies in top pockets.Young couples walking arm-in-arm seem to be fast disappearing too.

Or shirt collars spread across jacket lapels.
