In a brief item in today's Yorkshire Evening Post it reports that "Leeds has been named as one of the luckiest places to live in the country". We apparently "win more regularly on accumulator bets than almost every other UK city" and "Leeds is the second luckiest city behind Liverpool".That was never my experience when I used to bet on horses very many years back. It was a good result for me if a horse did not fall at the first fence in steeplechases! Even geting one result right in a Fixed Odds football betting accumulator was rare!

Not luck. It's probably due to the fact there are a lot of poor folk in Leeds and Liverpool trying to win a bit of brass

The Gemini Twins (Castor and Pollux) highish further left in about the east. That all these are readily seen at this time of night shows that we are well into Winter.
