I know it's not really in Leeds, but this has been bothering me for a couple of months now. Not too far from Saxton there is a wide line in the earth that can be followed South East for about 20 miles or so towards Goole;http://goo.gl/maps/eRfILSome parts of it has heavy machinery on it; diggers, trucks etc, but it just comes to an abrupt end where it should cross the River Ouse. Does anyone know what it is? It isn't straight enough to be a pipe-line. Was thinking a new road maybe, but seems like an odd route for a new road...Joe

I traced it all the way to the east coast, presumably a landfall terminal and some way to the west also.http://www.secretleeds.co.uk/forum/Mess ... ighLight=1

Perhaps move to the infrastucture thread as some of the gas ends up in Leeds via the Pannal off take

But the thread would appear to have reched its climax, and as the info is elsewhere then perhaps a closing and deletion of a this thread is in order to keep the site tidy
