Not sure the people who were raped by him would be that sympathetic towards her to be honest Jogon.

I didn't suggest or say they would?It was, of course, before we all knew anything about it.And in deference to the new regime and political correctness I suppose she ought not to be allowed that view.

Reading through this thread it seems that some people don't distinguish between:(1). whitewashing Jimmy Savile. and(2). criticising the sloppy report which came out of Operation Yewtree. There is no logical connection between 1 and 2.

My sentiments too cnosni, as posted earlier. All should accept that others opinions may differ, debate is shifting rapidly from the subject directly (JS) to no more than attempts to enforce acceptance of each other's opinions, not really what we are here for.

He gave me his signature when I was about 7 & 'wounded' in LGI.He was working as a porter and seemed to cheer everyone up, staff and patients alike.Great thread tho'.
