All ways had a few in the Robin Hood when I was on leave from Merchant Navy in the sixties, must have reminded me of the dock side bars from my travels...really enjoyed trolling the pubs during the day sessions whilst on leave.
Ex Merchant Seaman, jumped ship in NZ in 1970...ex pat Leeds Lad. Born/lived lower end Camp Road, then up to York Road in the early sixties.

The Robin Hood was still called that when the old Mecca, which became a weird shopping bazaar, caught fire, I took a message to the O.i.charge of the incident, who had set up 'forward control point' in the pub. My message was placed under a half empty, or half full pint glass. lol. business as usual.

Interestingly if you Google for the pub there's a company called The Fleece (Farsley) Limited based in Bradford which suggests it's not a Punch house anymore - it's not listed on the Punch pubs for sale site, although I thought there was a for sale sign up last time I went past. Perhaps the company hasn't been able to make a go of it.

Confirmed that the Fleece has closed, and that it's still owned by Spirit Inns: http://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/n ... -1-5052739
