As the date of the photograph was divulged, it made searching for the answer on Google an easy option. Anyone could do that. I thought the whole idea was to demonstrate your knowledge of Leeds from within your own resources. Mmm, you don't say.If you read the opening post James, you might take the trouble to read all of them. If you had done, you would have seen that I wrote....Not so many clues next time J. Especially for us people who are - and always will be - south of the river.Caron - try googling '30th September 1936 Leeds' and see what happens....further up the thread before you entered the fray. Have a look. It's still there.

I can't see what the problem is which ever way you answer them. I'm rubbish at maths, so if I can't get anyone to do it for me, I'll use a calculator
My flickr pictures are herehttp://www.flickr.com/photos/phill_dvsn/Because lunacy was the influence for an album. It goes without saying that an album about lunacy will breed a lunatics obsessions with an album - The Dark side of the moon!

How long have you lived at Davis Ave Lee?If it's a while you'd remember the little postman who did that round for ages. I'm going back 8 years or more now. The poison dwarf we used to call him!!I clouted him over the head with a bundle of mail once. He made enemies easily lol I am a fully paid up member of the Davies 'clan' (?)' and do not wish to appear pedantic. However, I must take issue with the misspelling of Davies Avenue.I constantly receive post addressed to somebody called J.Davis; naturally as it is not me I return it to sender (unless of course there is a cheque inside the envelope in which case I can, with some difficulty, bring myself to overlook the spelling). Just thought I'd point it out.JD

I lived in Burley, Kirkstall, Horsforth and Farsley when I lived in Leeds so most of the W&W I don't stand a chance of knowing. I use Google/Street View all the time and I hardly ever find the location! However, I do generally end up reading about something Leeds related or looking at how much Leeds has changed since I last lived there. I do not think it matters how you reach the conclusion as to where the W&W pics are located as long as it's fun and educational trying to find out then that's good enough for me. Phill, you have got to have some kind of photographic memory, of this I'm certain

Phill's a Black Belt at this. I've twice requested an audience and an apprenticeship, but this was declined.re the Google-where would you like to go today - thing, I also was taken to Cas (see pic). Folks have mentioned this when I've done links but this is the first time I've seen it.

Thanks for mentioning that J.Just checked that particular W&W via the 'search' utility which confirmed my record at this is not 0%.I must drag myself into the 21st century and get equipped to set some 'deep south' W&W's for you lot. Maybe one of the junior S&P's will assist.
