It is appreciated. Sorry for me getting a bit peeved when that was not deserved. I blame the sneezing, sniffling and headache of a cold that started last night that I've more or less now managed to throw off. I'm like Rudolph just now, in that I have a red nose from all the sniffles!

Oddly enough, while hurrying along Bond Street a couple of days ago, I imagined that this little masterpiece would have succumbed by now - but on glancing up was delighted to see that it survives. In the hustle and bustle of life today I think that many folks (and I don't mean we "Secret Leedsers") are unaware of the gems from the past that can be enjoyed by just glancing up one storey from the street.
There's nothing like keeping the past alive - it makes us relieved to reflect that any bad times have gone, and happy to relive all the joyful and fascinating experiences of our own and other folks' earlier days.
