Two Ball Lonnen. I remember seeing a photograph some time agoof a small/mini bus with that on thedestination blind-seemed to stick inmy memory for some reason

Pity me is not far from Stoney Heap. My favourite bus destination is Lickey End on the outskirts of Birmingam.

Rather boringly it's named for the balls on the finials in the walls around Fenham Hall.

Or.............."twenty yearjjjjjjjj, and itsh not shed a waird yet" Scouse humour is just wonderful - four of us were in a black cab from Pier Head to Lime Street a few years ago, and the wickedly obese driver was "eavesdropping" as we discussed the dreadful flooding which had just occurred (summertime) in Somerset - suddenly he turned round and quite seriously said :-"Course, I blame that f***** Bin Laden for that !!" In true Scouse fashion the "g" was omitted from the offending word and the last syllable was pronounced "un" instead of "ing."
