Pubs closing NOW- in our time.

Seem to recall a session back in the (pre-spouse/pre-mortgage/pre-kids) day at the Eagle North Street. Someone said it was residential and we vigorously debated this point.Decided against.Then one said the New Beehive in Bradford was, and so a project was hatched.But shelved for wasting two days + uneasy feel they may booked for 'the half hour' by newly-met couples.Never understood that, surely ten mins would seem enough?

Is The Horsforth Hotel on Featherbank Lane still going?I've just read through every comment and though not a big drinker myself, it's so sad to hear of these pubs disappearing.I had my engagement do in the Haddon Hall...what's going on, eh?My nephew took over The Crown in Pudsey about 3 years ago so finger's crossed.

The Rising Sun on Kirkstall Road is still selling furniture, despite one or two "unscheduled" closed days from time to time.
There's nothing like keeping the past alive - it makes us relieved to reflect that any bad times have gone, and happy to relive all the joyful and fascinating experiences of our own and other folks' earlier days.
