It was a genuine question. Anybody can paint anything gold if they want. The 'Gestapo' can't stop them. That the post office has spectacularly cocked up the qualifying criteria is their own mess and nothing to do with the Olympics.I support personal endeavour and the will to be the best at certain sports, i enjoy the festival of sport and celebrate the success of all those who take part and the achievements of the medal winners. It doesn't mean I have any affection for the corporate culture and the organising committee.

Folk painting pillar boxes in a responsible manner is okish but how long before idiots are pouring paint into the box itself and painting everything else they fancy gold? Some of our pillar boxes here have had to be made redundant due to idiots setting them alight and as I use pillar boxes often I can assure you that the hike I now have to make to post one letter doesn't please me at all.

Ahhh..with you (D'oh).Yeh, too right. With you there I actually love the games and the winter games.I'm looking forward to the closing ceremony tomorrow night but wish it wasn't embroiled in secrecy, seems childish. I shall now have to wait for another 4 years of my life to pass before I'm glued to the tele

I was under the impression that an act of parliament banned anyone from mentioning the O word in anything that could be construed as marketing? Hey the Olympic Gestapo are not as strict as I first thought, they are allowing you to hold an Olympic party in your own home! Whoopee, I'm so happy!! Q.....Can I host a party to celebrate the Games at home for my friends and neighbours and decorate my house with posters and homemade bunting which feature the Olympic rings etc?A.... Absolutely! Activities within your own home to celebrate the Games on a personal level and with your friends are not going to be a problem. Please see the Local Leader pages of our website for ideas on how to celebrate the Games in your community. *All other infringements are punishable by death, see here for full Olympics 2012 capital punishment details*http://www.london2012.com/about-us/our- ... the-brand/
