Christa Ackroyd popped up in Hyde Park(London one).Harry Gration I don't think has been seen since before the Olympics started. The guys and gals at BBC in Leeds will have to be quick off the mark to beat these two.During the football play offs last season at Wembley one of the presenters said something like - Usual seat Harry ?

What a fantastic result for the brothers, even allowing for Jonnys 15 second penalty!!!And... what was more credit to them, Jonny accepting the fact as 'rules are rules' in a post race interview. Imagine a (over-paid) F**tballer doing that?!?!?! - he'd more likely stand there & argue with the referee, than accept it!Plus, it was nice to see the coverage on 'Look North' this evening, when they talked to his (ex) PE teacher & Dave Woodhead who helped to nuture the young Brownlees in junior fell-races'Beast' on here runs them too, I believe? The PE teacher (Charlie Lines) is in the same running club as me, & I run some of Daves events, when I can get there (didn't do this mornings though, not really enough time to get here, run, drive home & get to work for a late-turn)

Christa Ackroyd's reporting was, as usual, dire. Her performance in front of the camera was typically punctuated by her trademark pouting and face pulling. It's a shame gurning isn't an olympic sport......she'd have won gold!

According to the local BBC news this morning the post box on 'New Side Road' in Horsforth is to be painted gold. It is the one outside the post office.

Just spotted the painting in progress as I was driving to work - screeched to a halt and took some pictures: http://www.flickr.com/photos/leedslily/

Does anyone know where the commemorative stamps for the Brownlee brothers are available? I wonder though if they were rapidly sold out like other such Olympic stamps have reported to have been. I hope the post box remains graffiti free as sadly it has been reported that a gold painted post box for Jessica Ennis in Sheffield has already been vandalised with graffiti.
