Gravestone Locations - Any ideas?

Hello ,A few of you will know my interest in the old Iron and Brickworks of Leeds and Farnley. Does anyone know where messrs Joseph Cliff and William Ingham were buried? Theres little if any traces left of their factories in farnley and wortley now - I wondered if anyone knew if they were buried locally?I tried find a grave but couldnt come up with anything. Joseph Cliff b 1806 died 1879

Steevo. Have you seen the site "brickcollecting.com" saw on there that William Ingham died 22/1/1851 and is buried in Wortley.

William Ingham buried 27 Jan 1851 St Johns Wortley Joseph Cliff buried in Upper Wortley Cemetary Aug 6th 1879 at 11:30 am weenie

Weenie, thanks for your help. I got up early on Saturday morning and went to see what I could see. I found both graves, Joseph cliffs hidden under a tree against a wall in Upper and Lower wortley cemeter and William Inghams in the middle of St Johns Churchyard. Both quite modest . . . William Inghams looked like it had a fancy iron railing round it at one point but its all overgrown now. It amazes me that my home town Wortley was home to 2 great industrialists back in the day. I bet they were like the bill gates of their time. Sad that not a trace remains , but I reckon a good proportion of the houses in leeds will have been built with those bricks from Inghams and Cliffs , later the fireclay works too. I do love a bit of local history. On that note aswell - I had a fish from ritz fisheries on five lanes end and I have to say - It was wonderful Thanks for your info. Richard.
