Each to their own. I'm not a great sports lover - cant stand football or rugby, but do enjoy watching athletics. I don't like trains or buses either but don't comment on those threads in a negative way just don't read them !If you dont like it - do sommat else I say.

Admittedley, I tuned in expecting a cringeworthy ceremony, but on the whole, it was good entertainment, with a few terrible faux pas!1. Mr Bean...WTF?2. Brunel did not kick start the industrial revolution.3. Professional hand wringer Shami Chakrabati...I bet she loved handing the olympic flag over to members of the armed forces (not)4. Doreen Lawrence...my god, obviously a political decision...I'm surprised they didn't let her light the flame!5 Paul Mcfartney.... the professional media whore couldn't be left out, could he?6. The German official waving (saluting in a Nazi style)...cracked me up! (as did Boris Johnson's reaction in the background)http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=pl ... Rv-B60npKs

Massive noise?First time I've ever heard this expression, it seems it's very popular with the swimming commentators to describe the crowd cheering loudly. I've heard it used several times today, the funniest had to be 'That's massive, really massive, if that doesn't get her going-nothing ever will.Anyone else heard that blooper earlier today lol?
