I worked opposite Leeds University at the time but I didn`t drink there as I was too young at the time Can't remember the name, but was it on the same side as the University, very close to the junction with Reservoir Street (now Clarendon Road) - and was it demolished with other old property for the massive extension to the University ??

The Royalty at Surprise View on Otley Chevin. Had rather a chequered history over last few years, but looks as if it's gone for good now. Always was a bit bleak and miserable there but very popular in the 1970's when a boyfriend had a car!
