Sorry, I'm off thread a little but even so. What about Markses. Why Markses? Surely Marks and Spencer's abbreviated form is Marks. My missus calls it Markses and it's irritating. There is also a chain of shops in Scarborough and Bridlington, as well as elsewhere, called Boyes: it gets the same treatment - Boyses! I ask you!JD
