I can recall sitting outside Yeadon library watching them filming the bit outside the Town Hall. Strangely it seemed to take them about three takes to get the actors walking down the steps and getting into a van.

I work at Farnell and they used to use the building on Armley road as the police station I beleive on A Touch of Frost. David Jason was always a very nice guy from what I have heard. They stopped using it though when they re-jigged the offices and moved management in there who wouldn't give up their offices for the filming. The Cornmill Lodge in Bramley near the Wickes was also on A Touch of Frost once.

Aye, thay also used the Albion on more than one occasion. Each time I saw the prog with the pub in it, it was always filmed in the "snug"

YTV shot a scene for Heartbeat in our street in Otley years ago. A few years previously, I had shot a McDonalds ad while working in London. One of the actors was Nick Berry, just before he got a part in Eastenders. I spoke to him after filming in our street, and he remembered me. We watched the ad on video in my front room, and he asked for a copy. It made my wife's day!
