any present day evidence of any train tracks at Crown Point area at all now?

Nice picture buffaloskinner. It shows the Hillidge Road bridge in the days when the station building was still there - mounted on the bridge itself. The "half" building on the right of the picture is also identifiable on pablo leeds' view, but by the time that was taken, Hunslet station had been shut, and its buildings demolished.

ah i see that yeah.bit confusing though. on my pic a third line has been squeezed in on the right of the platform. doesnt seem like there'd be roomJim is there any trace of the platform today like in Phill's pic?

No that old bit of platform was removed a few years back, they remodelled the road, bridge and track. I think you can see that going on Bing images. Yes you can see it all changing herehttp://binged.it/JkeBwg

no platform all gone on Bing.shows 2 trainlines too. can't see much room for the 3rd line (overlapping post, can't seem to see the platform, just the exposed ends of the stairs)

Phill/Jim - are you allowed to walk the old rail routes starting round Sweet Street West/Bridge Street and also the approach to Leeds Central near Graingers Way??

I believe that they are private land with no public access pablo leeds.

I take it you mean the two viaducts Holbeck and Central?In short no your not allowed to, but of course that doesn't mean it's not impossible.It is railway property though, even though it is disused.
