Venus, Jupiter and Mars are very obvious just now.

Venus and Jupiter were obvious early tonight but have now sunk below the horizon. Just now Mars is the bright reddish object high up just about to come into the south. Saturn is just now above and to the left of the Moon (the star nearer to and above the Moon is Spica in Virgo). Those will remain visible all night as they appear to move to our right.

For those who like to see such views there is just now a gorgeous scene of a thin crescent Moon just to the right of Jupiter and very bright Venus above them. They will be still visible (clouds permitting) for a couple or so hours. Mars is the reddish object high in about the SE.

I saw your post too late, unfortunately, but can still see Mars from my window

Hoping not to be getting boring now but there is another gorgeous sight just now (and should be for a at least an hour or some more) in the west of a very bright Venus with a lovely crecent Moon just left and below Venus. Jupiter is obvious lower down. The Moon will noticably move to the left as we see it over coming days (it was a little to the right of Jupiter last night). Mars is the reddish object high in about the SE.

Not boring at all! I'm sure those who are interested are checking the thread, and those who are not interested don't have to click on it I managed to see it this evening, prompted by your post - I just wish the planets could organise themselves not to coincide with the second episode of Corrie to be within view for me!
