The photo is a close-up of a window in the rear of a popular location in the centre of Leeds. I took the photo today (March 23 2012) when I spotted the nice leaded window. Shame that a bit of piping has been put through the window. The brightly coloured bits on the walls were fairly clean looking so could be recent(ish) though at least some of the pipework has clearly been put over some of that art work after that was done as the art seemed to continue behind that pipework as far as I could tell without going closer. I suspect this a view that is not often seen or at least noticed. PS. The window seems to be slanting but I think that may be the case as in 2 other pictures I took of the area they all seem to show a slant (unless I just cannot stand horizontal, or my camera view does not show exactly what I think it does!).

It's not in one of the refurbished yards in that condition, I'm not sure why but I think it's one of the yards off the Headrow. I can't think how you get around the back of the Three Legs/Vine these days, but it's somewhere around that area I would think?

This photo (taken March 23 2012) shows the rear view of the building. It may help (or not!) to identify where it is.

Easy now you put the bigger photo on. It's the back yard of the Wrens pub on Merrion Place herehttp://g.co/maps/hhgsc

I said it is in the centre of Leeds and that is also where The Wrens states in its website. As its postcode is in LS2 it's possible though that some may say it is not in the centre of Leeds. Premises on the opposite side of its frontage on Merrion Street do however have an LS1 postcode.

I've just noticed that the location of The Wrens is wrong in the Google Map (see the attached image). Mind you, there are numerous errors on those maps. They can be useful, but do not rely on them for accuracy.
