As this was dated 1911 presumably this was the remainder of the land that Leeds City DIDN'T buy in 1906. It appears that Monk's Bridge owned all the land on the ER football ground site, what was Fullerton Park and also where the un-used car park is now right up to the railway line.

However, I have since discovered that 1927 is correct. For a short time there was greyhound racing on both sides of ER, run by rival associations. What eventually became the established greyhound stadium on the south side of ER obviously won the battle, however, I can't put a date to when the greyhound racing was operated on the speedway track on Fullerton Park, was that before the speedway track or after? Speedway operated between 1928-1938. Grateful for any help. Thanks.

This may just be their flagging memory, and the greyhound racing actually took place on the site BEFORE the speedway around 1927. Either that or the legal wrangling was settled and there was greyhound racing on both sites in 1927 and for a short time after the speedway finished in 1938?
