Nothing there but there is a dead end spur into the open area in these trees. Laid in 1955.http://www.bing.com/maps/?v=2&cp=sz58hc ... orm=LMLTCC

As and aside there’s a water main up Old Park Road, the road that isn’t there, on the other side of Princes Avenue. It was part renewed in 1960, presumably for the changing rooms that have since been condemned and closed.

Thanks all for your help.I've noticed in old maps that there used to be quite a number of drinking fountains in Roundhay Park. I suspect most may have been single ones, plain or otherwise in design.
