I don't post much (mainly because I rarely have anything of value to add!!), but I look all the time - I think this is a site where if there's a thread that's of particular interest to you, you can get massively involved, and if it's not, you can just try and learn from it

Regualr viewer, rare poster here. If you think this place is cliquey, or over / under moderated, then I reckon you have little experience of internet forums - this one always seems friendly and welcoming to prolific expert posters and ignorant newbies alike.

I meant to post here how, though I did see a tiny falling out here around the time I joined, I have noticed the moderation here is balanced and the general attitude is friendly. Any worries of a clique are soon dissolved when you see new people becoming part of discussions and having questions answered politely and thoughtfully.I think I know the forum of which you speak Phil and, in fact, have been put off joining in part because of that kind of policy (I take it you mean the lunar month roofing people, if you'll excuse the crossword puzzle clue?).
