Stationless Stations and other landmarkless pubs

Driving past The Station in Yeadon today, it occurred to me that it hasn't had a railway station to be named for since 1966, and even longer for one in regular use. This got me thinking: what are other pubs are there in the area that are named for landmarks that are long gone?

Just outside the Leeds boundary so not sure if it counts but Wrenthorpe was historically a village producing pottery. Production stopped around 1780 but it still has Potovens Lane and a Pub in the village called The New Pot Oil.

Hi Jogon,The Chemic on Johnston Street was so-called because it was built next to the site of a large chemical works. If you look on the Victorian maps, you will see it marked. I was brought up 200 yards from the Chemic.There is a previous thread on this topic if you check the search facility.Ian

That's close BarFly. It was Pen y ffynnon. There was a Halfpenny Lost nearby.
