Agreed there are no trees in the background and the streetview camera was certainly mounted higher than the driving compartment of a transit which is probably where the original image was filmed from Edited to add link I forgot to add

Also Lo and behold the bus lane is more or less in the same place as the clip.

This is fascinating stuff. If the only information I had was that it was in Leeds and I was asked where I thought it was taken I could easily persuade myself that it was on Scott Hall Road near the Buslingthorpe Lane junction with Bronte House on the right.

Sorry to disagree Billy but You're too far down near to the old St Peters Church and schoolroom, none of the trees or foliage You can see existed then.

To the left in the near foreground was St Peters churchyard with trees, some of which may have initially survived the church's demolition and the building of the sheltered housing

You can see the pelican crossing lights in the distance, if the pic was from Dobson Place the stops would be after the crossing. I believe these to be the stops outside St Peters before they were moved a little further along away from the sheltered housing. It's the camera's effect of squashing the depth of view up close making distances difficult to fathom.
