Are you young enough in mind to tell us what that big chimney was in the background Billy???????????? The chimney and its building was Highfield mills occupied By Henry Moore who made amongst other things army uniforms. EDIT Now demolished it stood to the left of Ringtons tea factory.

Are you young enough in mind to tell us what that big chimney was in the background Billy???????????? As far as I remember that chimney was up a yard at the side of Ringtons and the Plaza club, I dont know what type of industry though, there was a gateway that led, up a narrow, rough roadway where it opened up into a square, there were lock ups in that yard and a friend had one where he messed about about with scooters and bikes.Edited     Billy, I have looked at Old Maps and if the chimney was in the Lady Pit Lane area I am at a loss to find anything industrial there?

The skyline doesn't match on the other suggestion - I think! ETA: Go to Google Street View and there's a chain link symbol on the left. Copy and paste the link.
