Hi, yes i have noticed there is a few intresting posts about the panther.I have a notion this man did not always work alone especially in the early days of his criminal career.I wonder if any of the ex police officers who are on the forum ever thought the same?

Can anyone identify where this house is (possibly not Leeds but Bradford) where Neilson lived.http://www.itnsource.com/shotlist//ITN/ ... &st=0&pn=1

Hi Bellman,The house is situated on the north side of Leeds Road (A-647), just on the Leeds side of what is known locally as 'Thornbury Roundabout'. Thornbury Roundabout is not a circular type roundabout, but a large one-way-system around a large triangular area of grassed land, as you enter Bradford from the direction of Stanningley/Leeds. I can remember driving past the house when Neilson was caught. Thornbury is a suburb of Bradford.( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thornbury,_West_Yorkshire )Ian

Thanks for that Ian and Geordie, i found the house to be 4 up from there. Neilson lived two up from the little service road (1129) Three garages together can be seen behind the house that were used by Neilson. The police did search them as part of their enquiries. http://tinyurl.com/82e4hvg
