Saw one this afternoon up here hovering over The Angel. It was red and dark grey at 3.45 pm and 20 mins later had become just dark grey.

Though I did not see the group of clouds in the photo I did see some similar but mostly individual clouds on my way into Leeds today. I saw several single ones and at least two pairs in a clear sky on the right as I was going down Scott Hall Road at around 11:30. There were also lots of cumulus type cloud around (the cotton wool like clouds). I had thought of posting a thread about the unusual clouds but thought nobody would be interested. They certainly were eye catching.

No, and we took the dog out at about two and should have seen something like that to the west. I have seen them before over Doncaster though.

Yes I saw them yesterday when I was looking out of the window of my flats towards Horsforth, I can see as far as the windfarm on Ogden Moor. I would have taken a photo but I have taken so many photos of this same view that I didnt feel inclined to take yet another! Wish I had done now...

They conclusively prove that flying saucers can be seen.
