"Desperate Dan" always had the best pies - those with the horns sticking out of the crust!

I'm in Leeds next Saturday - hope they've got some left I'm pleased to report that I've now tried the wares of the Little Yorkshire Pie Company and their pork pies are excellent. To my mind they are preferable even to the esteemed Wilsons growlers.I'd definately recommend them if you're in the city centre. They also do a wide range of other pies so there is plenty to choose from and they are very reasonably priced.A great find - thanks for posting their details.And as a bonus (as if one were needed) their egg custards are excellent too.

The pork pie fillings from this shop are indeed superior to any others on offer these days. Controversially however I have a preference for the darker coloured, denser, and more flavourful pie crusts/cases of those supplied by Wilsons and Stevensons (provided the latter are still as good as when I last sampled one a few years ago)
