I didn't realise they extended this far down the hill, but possible!

Just checked it out and there were some later additions to the barakcs behind the social services building that was a riding school.Certainly with my limited means of research at home I can tell you that there was no building on the site of where the Social Services is now in 1909.

I don't know which regiment used them. this picture is taken at the same barracks on barrack road,they were the 2nd dragoon guards,also at the barracks were the 21st lancers,and leeds rifles.

I guess this should be a new thread really, but there is this phot that I have attached that is from Leodis. It claims to be the guard house that was mentioed earlier in the thread, but it doesn't look like the one that is there now (from memory) I think that the windows might be different.
