Eagle Tavern. Has there been an incident?

I wonder if there has been an incident at the Eagle Tavern on North Street? Passing by on a bus at 11:10 today I noticed there were 2 policemen at the pub doorway. Passing back an hour later there was a policeman there and the pub looked to be shut.

I clearly missed that news yesterday!

I thought there must have been a press ban on it or something.

Surprisingly the YEP today does report the incident! It is on page 2 with a photo showing more of the Eagle Tavern than in the web report.I think it is amusing that detective had declined to name the pub but a police spokesman said "Officers were called to a public house on North Street, Sheepscar". As far as I'm aware the Eagle Tavern is the only public house on North Street!
