Leeds lost pubs

Like all else Davey mate - whilst the offenders get away with no more than a slap on the wrist (if that) instead of hitting them where it hurts and in a way which affects their daily life, adverse behaviour will continue being seen by so many as 'normal'! A simple example of a continuing lack of respect and indifferent social concience.

Ramsdens were a Halifax Brewery taken over by Tetleys (or Allied not sure which) They used to brew a very drinkable light mild.

I think the local Camra branch's name for it - "Foulstuff" sort of killed it off.

I had a look round some of the closed pubs in Cross Green yesterday. The Hampton, Slip Inn, and The Cross Green (Now being converted to a Chinese restaurant) Cross Green used to have so many pubs, infact the whole area is changing, and not for the better I.M.O. Can anyone recall all the closed/lost pubs in that area?Of the top of my head there is *The Cross Green*The Hampton*Slip Inn*Bridgefield*Fishermans Hut*The Black DogAnymore?

The White Horse at Morley (Townend) which has been closed for some time is being refurbished, but I think Kasa Rosa restaurant is moving from behind Queen Street to there.
