Fascinating duplication of names here - there is an area of Ilkley also called Middleton Woods - it lies on the back road to Otley via Askwith, both sides of the road near the open air swimming pool. When I lived there many years ago there was always a beautiful display of bluebells there, and no doubt still is.

My wife can vouch that there is - she went through the Ilkley Middleton Woods with her walking group last Thursday.

Nice shot Buffalo - there are bluebells all over the place at the moment.I captured these alongside the former Leeds - Wetherby railway line by Wetherby Racecourse this morning:

I found these at Temple Newsam this lunchtime. Apologies for the phone camera quality. I decided not to take my camera as we were "only" taking the dog for a walk. So (as sods law dictates) there were these bluebells, a big group of ducklings on the lake and two wild baby rabbits eating dandelions on the edge of the car park...It was marvelous up there today - nice and quiet too, I don't know where everyone was...

I cut through Bushey Cliffe Wood at Carlton today on the way home from having a pint and that is a mass of bluebells too.Lovely and quiet as well.
