I am wondering if anyone knows anything about a headstone (see the photo taken March 29 2011) and the person named on that? Walk up the track from the Holbeck Gate entry (on the A660) of Danefield Estate to where it soon meets another track. Turn to the right and after crossing a stream you come across the site where there used to be some buildings a couple or more years back. The headstone is there. I do not recall seeing it when I was last there in April 2010 so it would seem to have been placed since then. Some of the wording is hard to read but it seems to state "In Loving Memory Of Joseph Water(house?) Who Fell Asleep Oct 8th 1901 Aged (something 7) Years”. I assume there is no grave beneath the headstone. Edit added moments after posting. I got an error message when I sent the post but it seems to have gone through and the photo is there (click on the red x).

Found an online death registration in Wharfedale for a Joseph Waterhouse aged 17 in October 1901. Hope this helps.
