try telling them that you charge x amount per hour ,or part of, to listen to sales pitches and please could you give me your address, or confirm you have authority to act ,so I can send you a bill<LOL>. I have found this really useful in stopping cold callers if I have a bit of time to spare, and am in a humourous mood<LOL>.If anyone is daft enough to give you an address, send them a bill e.g. £100 for listening to pitch.Then you can threaten them with letters regarding going to the small claims court etc, if they don't pay up<LOL>.
