Leeds isn't a notoriously hilly City like Sheffield perhaps, but I was wondering what street in Leeds has the honour of being the steepest? The Google Street view of Vale Street can be seen here. http://snipurl.com/20rvpbThey park their cars on an angle for very good reason by the looks of things The houses in the Google Street view look to be at a very strange angle. I got dizzy just looking at them! In view of the steepness I wonder if the Totterdown name for the area is coincidence or not!

What about the Wharfdales down Meanwood Road. They are very steep. Cars are parked facing the middle of the road.http://www.panoramio.com/photo/9748919

It's not really a street but there's Steep Causeway in Armley. Running from bottom centre off to the left here http://tinyurl.com/69auwzf

Holmfirth must be the steepest place in the UK, I've never seen a programme about it that didn't feature a pensioner or two hurtling down a hill in some kind of contraption, usually a bath tub.

Might be pushing the "in Leeds." but Black Hill Road always seems pretty steep to me.Used to get a real bit of speed going down on the bicycle.http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&saf ... a=N&tab=wl
