Ooh, while I'm here, I found one out recently, although it's a discovery more than an invention and I think it's a corker......I hope you don't all go, 'Oh yeh, I heard about that.'It's first hand, from an A1 quality source and while the fella was telling me I was in absolute stitches, some really funny scenarios in all the detail that I'd best not get into here. There was a clinical trial held in Leeds into a tablet for heart pressure (I think) and they were on the look out for side-effects. After a session they asked if anyone had noticed anything unusual and got some interesting answers. The unexpected responses led them off on a completely different trail (also worked on in Leeds) which ended with the launch of Viagra.

I'm willing to stand correction though. With a sign outside the factory saying "Home of Crackerjack nutcrackers" More info herehttp://www.retonthenet.co.uk/vintage-chrome-pl ... rackerjack' Nutcrackers made by C.L. Rimes Limited of 5 Zoar Street, Morley, Leeds, England, Circa 1950s and comes complete with a copy of the original instructions for use, though no box. The 'Crackerjack' Nutcrackers in our opinon are probably the best nutcrackers in the world, very solid, using a patented ratchet mechanism, first patented in 1947 in the UK (1951 US) that makes crushing nuts a dream.I like the line "Makes crushing nuts a dream!"
